Ihre bekanntesten Rollen spielte sie in Hitchcocks "Vertigo - Im Reich der Toten", "Der Mann mit dem goldenen Arm" an der Seite von Frank Sinatra, "Kiss me, stupid" von Billy Wilder und (jaaa, ich bringe ihn immer irgendwie unter ) als William Holdens Partnerin in "Picnic".
