Jessie J has won the 'Critic Choice Award 2011' at the Brits, it has been announced.
Last week, the 'Do It Like A Dude' singer was named alongside The Vaccines and James Blake in a shortlist. The prestigious award, previously won by Ellie Goulding, Adele and Florence and The Machine, is given to who the critics tip to achieve mainstream success in the coming year.
"This is epic!" Jessie said of her win. "It has been a dream since I was a little girl to win a Brit. I can't believe it's happened!"
Writing on Twitter, she added: "Arghhhhh!!! Omg!!! I'm in shock and I'm tears!!! (sic)."
James Blake came second while The Vaccines settled for third place.
Jessie J will perform at the Brits launch event on January 13, which will be broadcast on ITV2 the following night.
The Brit Awards 2011 take place at London's O2 arena on February 15.
