Das neue Album "Humanz" erscheint endlich am 28. April, Featurings sind unter anderem De La Soul, Grace Jones und Carly Simon. BBC Radio 1 wird wohl auch ein/zwei neue Songs in den nächsten Stunden vorstellen.

Ich mag ja die Gorillaz Alben sehr ( vor allem Demon Days)
Aber die Hörproben vom neuen Album gefallen mir irgendwie überhaupt nicht. :nixweiss:

Ich hab mir die vier neuen Songs mal angehört. Andromeda ist ein cooler Track. Da hätte ich mir z.B. auch Jessie Ware als feat. Act sehr gut vorstellen können. Die restlichen drei Songs finde ich schwach bis ok. Ist dann doch nicht so meins.

Heute wird das Album veröffentlicht und ich hoffe auf einen großen Erfolg. Jedenfalls ist das Album gelungen. Schade finde ich nur, dass der Fokus zu sehr auf die Featurings gelegt wurde und so was typisches fehlt

Das Album war heute in der Post. Enttäuschung des Jahres, bisher.
Ich habe das Gefühl eine Gorillaz EP zu hören in die jemand einen Sampler gemischt hat.
Oder ich verstehe vielleicht einfach nicht wieso Damon Albarn nur eine Gastrolle auf einem Gorillaz Album hat.

Das stört mich eben auch. Es gefällt mir trotzdem gut wenn auch nicht so gut wie Plastic Beach und Demon Days. Bin ja schon froh überhaupt was neues bekommen zu haben. Aber es sind einfach zu viele Gäste auf dem Album die die Songs fast komplett einnehmen

Ich bin total überrascht, aber noch diesen Monat erscheint ein neues Gorillaz Album. Es heißt The Now Now und erscheint am 29. Juni.
