Ja, is Geschmackssache . Ich mag beide Arten, Gegröhle und Gesang.

Those of you looking forward to the new Evanescence album could be waiting for a while longer, as front woman Amy Lee has revealed that recording of the new record has temporarily been put on hold. She first cites wanting more time to be creative and write as the reason behind the hold up, but then hints that it could have something to do with an issue regarding their label Wind-Up Records.

“We’ve taken some time out of the studio to get our heads into the right creative space, work on the songs and even write some more music,” adding, ”We’ll be back in the studio recording the album soon enough. I think that it can only be stronger for this extra time we’re putting into it.”

“My record label has been going through some very uncertain times, as are many record labels, and that’s made things a little unclear….we really want to make sure the whole machine is working together when it’s time to put out the album.” {source}

The first single was originally scheduled to drop in the Summer, with the album in the Fall and a tour shortly after, but now after Amy’s new comments, the release date seems uncertain.

This exactly the first time that Evanescence have had issues, with band members leaving and changing every five seconds, long hiatuses and personal drama. Hopefully the short break is just a small technicality, and not telling of a much larger problem.

When the album finally does hit stores, you can expect some heavy electronic influences and synth sounds, in a similar vein to other alt-electronica artists

Ach ne, und ich hab mich auf n Album dieses Jahr gefreut... Hoffe es klappt vll. noch bis Ende diesen Jahres... Aber ich bezweifels...
