Rita über das Album

The blonde singer will release the LP on September 10th and has said that the tracks will be hugely influenced by artists such as The Vaccines and No Doubt.

Rita spoke to Digital Spy about the upcoming album: "It's going to be a shock, but in a good way. It brings together a few different aspects of music I've loved and listened to growing up. Literally, I haven't listened to just one style of music since I was little."

She continued: "I love Little Dragon and The Vaccines, but then I love B.I.G. and TLC and Destiny's Child, so you can expect variety. No Doubt was also a big influence on me while making this record, so you're going to hear all the ins and outs of those kind of genres."

When asked if there were any favourites on the album in particular, the star said: "Yes, it's called 'Unfair'. It's one of the only sensitive tracks I have."

"It's not a ballad, but it's more of an honest mid-tempo. It's not about me going through heartbreak, it's more me giving my all to something and he didn't appreciate it! I hate him right now!"

The singer then compared the emotional moment on the album to 'Adele': "I think that's why me and the whole world related to Adele - she's really honest and it's good to be honest."
